How to measure exhibition ROI
Exhibition spend is easy to add up and hard to evaluate. Space, build, staff, travel and hospitality are visible line items. What happened on the stand is usually not.
Most ROI conversations still collapse into leads captured. That number matters, but it ignores passers-by, dwell, product interest, staffing patterns and whether a new layout outperformed the last show.
A more useful model is measure, understand, improve, repeat. Count the people who entered. See how long they stayed. Learn which zones worked. Compare the event with the previous one. Then change the stand with evidence rather than instinct.
